Announcing SOC 2 Type 1 compliance at PurelyHR

PurelyHR announces SOC 2 Type 1 compliance, a gold standard for security compliance for software-as-a service (SaaS) companies.

We are thrilled to announce that PurelyHR is now SOC 2 Type 1 compliant. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to providing secure and reliable HR management software to our clients.

What is a SOC 2 Type I report?

SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) is an auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and is widely recognized as the gold standard for security compliance for software-as-a service (SaaS) companies.

The SOC 2 Type 1 audit requires rigorous assessments and testing to validate the organization’s ability to protect the confidentiality, privacy, integrity, and availability of its clients’ data. Achieving SOC 2 Type 1 compliance confirmed that we have implemented the necessary controls and procedures to ensure our systems are secure and our clients’ data is protected.

Why is SOC 2 compliance important?

As an HR management solution, our clients trust us with sensitive information. We understand the importance of security, and want our customers to rest assured knowing their data is protected. We are proud to achieve SOC 2 Type 1 compliance, as it demonstrates our dedication to clients’ data security, confidentiality and privacy. We want to thank our clients for their continued trust and support in PurelyHR.

The following steps for compliance at PurelyHR

As data security is an ongoing commitment, we will continue to invest in resources to maintain our compliance and provide the best possible service to our clients.

We continue working towards our next SOC 2 Type 2 compliance milestone. The Type 2 certification requires periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of our security controls over time to ensure we consistently meet the Trust Services Criteria.

If you have any questions about our SOC 2 Type 1 compliance or any other security-related matters, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team. We are always happy to help.
